You better click quick as my goal of only using auctions ending soon means that many of these military auctions about to have the gavel fall.  Even if you are just window shopping enjoy my round-up of many of the top selling eBay auctions in the WWII category.

A real winner in this block is the 82nd Airborne uniform pictured below.  You know I don't usually list many medals in this block.  It's not that the Good Conduct medal below is outstanding but it's just not that often that they make the cut with bidding and price for the newsletter.

The complete uniform below is advertised as being from the German mountain troops.  It's over $400 in active bidding so that makes it a "Hot Find" as I identify them for picking the best listings today.  I also thought the collar tabs were pretty special seeing as they have 33 bids!

You can tell by the items in this block that this is kinda of my catch-all block for the WWII category.  You can find an Italian officer visor cap, a Japanese sword and a Soviet medal among others.
WWI Auctions Live on eBay & Ending Soon
The WWI block is always fun to finish with because in just under a dozen picks I get to summarize an entire category.  One that stands out today is the British soldier statue.  The seller shares the neat history of this piece and that alone is worth clicking over there.
I am polishing off today's issue from a hotel room in Virgnia.  Yesterday I flew into Newark, NJ to pick up a collection. After renting a minivan and driving over the GW Bridge to the Bronx I am now the happy owner of 44 banker boxes full of Boy Scout memorabilia.  Looks like I'll be busy for the next several months.
