Tomorrow for the first time I'm jumping on a plane to go pick up a collection.  This is not how I usually run my business but in this case it made more sense for me to rent a van and pick it up rather than try to ship it out box by box.  I'll post some pictures on Facebook of my NY patch adventure!
Vintage Boy Scout Memorabilia Up First
There are a couple of nice Eagle medals and merit badge sashes in today's issue.  The letter below is signed by B-P but to me it looks a little bit like the canned signature versus an authentic one.  I could be wrong!
Order of the Arrow Auctions Live on eBay
I really like the 179 felt listed below and it's gotten the notice of bidders who have run it up over $200+. Another favorite of mine in this block is the old 6A conclave.
Scouting Auctions Ending Soon on eBay
I assume that that 1973 staff piece is one of those Angus McBride trading post pieces but I don't know that for sure.  People still talk about that huge auction which was kinda of a once in a decade type event for the hobby.

So far nobody has bid on my jamboree contingent patch from "jina".  :)  For the month of October I wasn't able to use all 1,000 of the "free" auctions that eBay gives me but I came pretty darn close.  Hopefully this month I can take advantage but right now I've got 200+ live auctions in the Boy Scout category.
Every week in the Tuesday issue I'm running an ad for the Charlotte TOR to help promote my home show.  So far I've gotten commitments from several collectors to attend.  The latest update is that a local Scouter is going to teach Scouting Heritage MB in cooperation with the show and we are working on rounding up another counselor to offer Collections.  These efforts will help get the word out in the local council about the TOR.

Yours in Scouting,

Make plans now to attend the return of a tradition that's been missing for too long - the Charlotte TOR.  I'm helping organize the show as a fundraiser for Pack 33 at Sardis Presbyterian Church in Charlotte.  We couldn't have a more supportive host.  The church just celebrated 75 years of Scouting including sponsoring two troops and a pack.  The show is being held in the 8,000+ square foot fellowship hall.  We have ample parking and many amenities in this part of Charlotte.
