Later today I'll be off to Belk Scout Camp for our Pack's family camping trip. Saturday night both my daughter and wife are staying too so this will be a fun one. Vintage eBay Boy Scout Auctions This Weekend
I don't know that I've ever seen a 1st edition Scout belt. The one listed below claims to be from that 1910-11 time period though. When you can find a 1935 Jamboree patch still in the original wax paper sleeve you know its a good one.
I know many of you are tired of seeing these modern rarity Black Eagle items listed in the Hot Finds. The seller sure is glad that I keep featuring them although that's a longer story.
With probably 15,000+ of them floating around I don't know how long the red sashes from this past NOAC will keep their value but they will keep showing up on eBay every week for years. I've got one in the bag for my collection so I'm good on that one.
The wonderful thing about eBay is that while I'm gone camping the store is still open. I've got almost 8k items in my store including auctions ending this weekend. I feel like the little train that could trying to get up the hill to peak my store at the 10,000 listings that eBay gives me every month with my subscription.
Bob Hanna sent me a copy of the flier for the Twin Cities Area TOR coming up in February. I know a good number of folks are going to the show in New Hampshire this weekend. I hope to make it to that one some day as I've only heard good things about it.
