Some of you can appreciate the dilemma that I'm faced with next month. As I look ahead to TORs there are two on the same weekend that I should consider. One is the Atlanta TOR which is a lot closer to me now that I live just up I-85 in Charlotte. The other is a Girl Scout collector show about an hour northwest of here that I attended last year. Decisions....decisions...

Vintage Boy Scout Memorabilia Up First
I posted a picture of that Cub Scout listings in the SPC last night and it got quite a response. As one collector said finding old Cub Scout stuff is just as hard as finding old Boy Scout stuff. This listing includes several old shirts and blue and gold community strips!

Order of the Arrow Auctions Live on eBay
I am pretty sure that NEXT "thank you" patch will sell for more than $100. As someone explained on the SPC this event was so small when you talk about staff issues there may have been only a few dozen people on certain groups. When you then come home and have interest from OA collectors across the country it helps explain the bidding that we are now seeing for these pieces.

We are now in the 21st century. My wife has convinced me we should try out a service at Harris Teeter Express Lane. As I polish off and press send on today's issue she is ordering our groceries online. Later today I show up at the store and someone will bring the groceries to our car. I don't even have to go inside. WHAT! This is a bit of an experiment but I do see the temptation - especially if she will be in charge of the grocery list/menu this way.
