In the coming weeks I'm going to be throwing myself headfirst back into my eBay business.  In preparation I thought I'd share with the readers some tips and tricks that are new in the eBay universe and worth a look even if you are more of a casual user.
Vintage Boy Scout Memorabilia Up First
For any of you that have an eBay store there is a critical deadline approaching.  When eBay rolled out their new fee structure on May 1st they also included a quarterly coupon that could be used to purchase shipping supplies.  In a few days Q3 will be here and if you have not used that initial coupon for the supplies it will evaporate.  This coupon allows you to basically get the supplies for free! Here is how you can find it. Open your Store then Manage my store look on left hand side under Store Design Subscriber Discounts New. Their is a code which you need to use to get your free supplies.
Order of the Arrow Auctions Live on eBay
Now a tip for anybody selling on eBay.  Do you remember names like turbolister, selling manager, and all the other programs that over the years people have used to manage their eBay listings.  Well eBay has baked all those into one new free product called Seller Hub.  I am just learning how to use it myself but I'll share with you a link to a pretty long webinar that eBay hosted to teach sellers the ropes.
Scouting Auctions Ending Soon on eBay
I think its really important for people in the hobby to step up and create helpful checklists and share information.  So I want to give a shout-out to Matthew Coll who has been keeping track of all OA issues for this summers twin events Prism and NEXT.  He is going to continue to update the spreadsheet.  Other folks have done this for NOAC and it's always a big help.
Patchblanket.com eBay Store Santeeswapper
This week I'm running a 40% off sale on over 1,800 council shoulder strips that I have listed on my eBay store at www.Patchblanket.com. This includes some inexpensive strips that are now marked down to less than $2.50 per patch.

Well Saturday is the final moving day.  We've hired some guys with a truck to come down and get all the heavy stuff to Charlotte.  My kids are enjoying our home church's VBS this week as kind of a final goodbye.  Moving is hard but we will have fond memories of our time in southeastern NC.

Yours in Scouting,
