Vintage Boy Scout Memorabilia Up First
In just a few days I'll be traveling to the largest OA conclave in the country!  The SR7B Cardinal Conclave only has six lodges that participate but gets well over 1,000 arrowmen.  I think Lodge 104 is bringing something like 400+ and they are not the host lodge.  This year the conclave is being held at Camp Boddie with Croatan 117 as the host.

I will run the risk of making some of you jealous by saying that the trading at the Cardinal Conclave is fantastic.  It is not an exaggeration to say that you could trade patches til the wee hours Friday and night and get back up and start it again after breakfast Saturday.  Literally on Saturday I may get in 12+ hours of trading.  I love doing 1:1 trading and always trying to pick up new stuff when I can.

Every night this week I'm posting new patches to my Facebook Store at www.ScoutPatchHQ.com.
Last night it was 43 new shoulder patches that are all $10 each.  Tonight it's going to be several dozen JSPs.  Also this week you'll see a few hundred OA flaps, CSPs and more go up for sale.  I've had fun wheeling and dealing with this new strategy although it is a lot more work than eBay in some ways.
 
After a week of looking at houses (maybe it's been longer!) we are narrowing it down to a few.  My wife is taking a tour of one at 12:30 today that just might be the one.  In our process of figuring out the jigsaw puzzle of Charlotte we've looked hard a 1/2 dozen elementary schools for my son.  I hope it all wraps up this week!
