Having lived in North Carolina for going on 18 years I have sympathy for my fellows statesmen as they mourn this morning.  However, I'm a Gamecock so I can only shed crocodile tears for that "other Carolina" this morning. It was a great game all around. Now on with the patches!
Vintage Boy Scout Memorabilia Up First
On Facebook a few weeks ago I purchased 18 different Eagle Scout medals from a collector who posted a picture of some he wanted to part with.  I have yet to sit down with the guide and try to identify them but I'm sure there will be some dupes in there.  At some point I'll have a good needs list put together.

Another need of mine got filled in the SPC Facebook Group just last week although it hasn't arrived in the mail yet.  Someone posted a picture of an Air Scout Scribe patch and after some dickering I was able to trade for it.  I still need the 2nd and 1st class Air Scout Candidate patches if anybody has those laying in their box.

If you missed the recent TOR in PA then check out the pictures that Todd Rogers shared in the Facebook Group.  He must have snapped dozens of pictures - enough to make me want to put that one on my wish list for future shows.  I always thought one way the SPC could serve the hobby is by being a place to share what's happening and a TOR is like a pilgrimage for threadheads.

Some of you have asked how successful has my new strategy on Facebook been doing.  As you may know I'm using albums in my business page as virtual categories to sell patches at www.ScoutPatchHQ.com.  The feedback I'll share is that the challenge with FB is you have to constantly promote the stuff.  Unlike eBay people aren't going to stumble across your store and make purchases while you sleep.
We have about 8 weeks left in school and I'm about like the kids counting it down.  Our house went on the market yesterday so things are percolating in the slow process to move the family this summer.  Have a great week!

Yours in Scouting,
