I am not attending one of the 5 TORs this weekend but I do have some fun Scouting ahead. Tomorrow I'm off to my lodges Spring Fellowship to be in my special place - Camp Coker. Then on Sunday I'm hoping to sort through and shuffle the patches that arrived as part of the OA activity patch blind trade.
Vintage eBay Boy Scout Auctions This Weekend
I don't usually lead off the newsletter mentioning a sale in my eBay store but this one is pretty unique. I'm a bit stingy on my OA and so they rarely go on sale. I've looked back and I don't think I've ever gone this deep. For the rest of the weekend you can get 30% off on over 2,000 Order of the Arrow flaps and issues in my store.
Yesterday in the Facebook Group I made a big trade/purchase. I just saw somebody post a picture and started up a message conversation about whether he would sell it and in a few minutes I found something in my collection that he wanted and we arrived at a deal. I know I am a fan of the Scout Patch Collectors but it allows me to be plugged into other collectors every evening when I log on.
My lodge is selling a fundraiser patch this weekend to honor one of our old-timers named Jimmy Duffy. He has been a fixture at Camp Coker for decades and the patch is in the shape of a bear claw which is what leaders spending the week at camp are given at the closing campfire. If anybody wants one (they are $10 let me know).
I relaunched my $5 OA album this week with all new patches. You can find patches in there going back to the 75th anniversary of the OA and some pre-fdl issues. These are patches that might sell for $10-$15 on eBay but I'm cutting out the middle man and giving everyone a deal on them. Check out my albums in my Facebook Store.

The OA that I've had in my eBay store have been listed now for going on a year. I figure that's why it's time to move some out using the 30% off sale this weekend. Over the course of this year teaching school my eBay store has seen some inventory move out. I started at over 10,000 listings and now I'm down over 2,000 items.
I know some of you are hitting the road to TORs including what might be a record number this weekend (5!). Safe travels and enjoy the trading and fellowship.
