There is less than a week remaining for collectors to get in on the OA activity patch blind trade that I'm organizing. So far more than twenty collectors have said they were in! If you've never thought about taking part in a blind trade I'd like to explain how it works and again ask you to consider taking part.
Vintage eBay Boy Scout Auctions This Weekend
This weekend I'm taking the Girl Scouts on a day trip to Camp Graham near Henderson, NC. We are doing an activity focused around teaching them an outdoor skill. This one just happens to be cooking! Our council has an emphasis this year on trying to teach girls more of the important camping skills and we are ready to go.
Tomorrow I'm riding out to Boy Scout camp to pick up some stuff from a gentlemen that was photocopying some of my local history research. If I'm smart I will also use tomorrow to register for three BSA activities I plan on doing over the next two months.
At some point when I am not such a thread head I'll put together a collection of insignia pins at least a basic one. I don't know if it's like of knowledge or prejudice toward cloth but I've yet to really try and get these pins ever for ones that fit my main collections like those pictured below.
The most recent collection I got in had over 100 OA 2piece flap sets from NOACs going back over the last decade or more. I took pictures of all the issues and placed them in my sales album over at ScoutPatchHQ.com
The other album that got launched this week was one devoted to Jamboree Shoulder Patches that started off with 200 issues as well. You can view what I have to offer and strike up a deal with me using Facebook at www.ScoutPatchHQ.com.
Cleaning Up The Shelves on Patchblanket.com
Almost every week I've run a sale in my eBay store to help move inventory. This week it's finally time to mark down some OA. For the weekend you can get 35% off on everything in my 2015 NOAC category that includes 227 listings.
