As a middle school social studies teacher some of you might appreciate my extra credit assignment tonight.  We have a local restored theater that is having an organ concert tonight.  The theaters is using a "Mighty Morgan" the type that was used in the 1920s before the end of the silent film era.  The students are going to watch an old Charlie Chapman movie with the musical accompaniment.  I guess the collector and history teacher in me likes exposing these kids to the old stuff.
Top Selling Auctions in the USA Category
Speaking of old stuff there is plenty in this issue.  Being a thread head I have to confess my favorite is the 533rd Bomb Sq. 381st Bomb Group Chenille pictured to the left that is over $400 and going strong.
Best Live Auctions in WWII Germany on eBay
For a treat in this block go all the way to the bottom and click on the Luftwaffe hat.  It's over $500 and is in pristine collection.  There is no reserve and with 28 bids I expect this one is not done climbing.
WWII Auctions From Around the World
This block feature auctions from Italy, Russia, Japan and other actors in the war.  The most interesting may be that green vet bring back Japanese helmet pictured to the left.  At over $500 it's got some people's attention.
WWI Auctions Live on eBay & Ending Soon
Click to see some of the best items in the WWI category on eBay.  There is not nearly as much stuff in this smaller cousin to WWII but there is always some interesting auctions to go through.
I was a little later in the day but I did get out the 2nd issue of the week and that is always the goal.  Enjoy your weekend!
