I might be the only person in North Carolina who didn't watch even one minute of the Super Bowl. Over a year ago my wife and I decided to cut the cable and just use a digital converter antenna to get the basic tv stations. We watch so little tv that it was probably the smart move. However, because I watch so little tv I didn't realize that we no don't get a signal for a CBS affiliate. Whoops! So instead we just went on about our normal schedule and I'll catch the best parts later on YouTube.

Vintage Boy Scout Memorabilia Up First
The first block in the Hot Finds always features some of the best vintage auctions live on eBay. Well maybe not the Pinewood Derby kit but you would be surprised how many bids that has. :)

Order of the Arrow Auctions Live on eBay
I've been talking to Brad England who is in the middle of his own blind trade with SAP issues right now. He is coaching me up as I think about organizing an OA activity patch blind trade. It sounds like a fun way to shake up your dupes.

Scouting Auctions Ending Soon on eBay
I think it was just last week that the Hot Finds had a 1975 WJ subcamp neckerchief featured. The Region 4 band piece is unusual but I love finding that unique stuff on eBay to feature in the newsletter.

I've now had both kids home recently because of illness. Yesterday it was my daughters turn to have an upset stomach. I think it might have been related to the junk food and lack of sleep that came from her church retreat but I can't say for sure. I'll be back Friday with another edition of the newsletter. Thanks!
Yours in Scouting,
