I hope you enjoyed the MLK holiday and are ready for a short week.  I know some of you were at the Dallas TOR and had a fun time by the accounts I've seen posted online.  In today's issue of the Hot Finds we've got some live auctions ending soon ready for you.
Vintage Boy Scout Memorabilia Up First
Well I did it again.  While cleaning out my garage and taking things to storage I popped some pictures of items onto Facebook right before I put them away in a box.  Once again thanks to the Scout Patch Collectors Facebook Group I now have a few less items to throw in storage and some collectors will be happy to receive their new acquisitions in the mail this week.
Order of the Arrow Auctions Live on eBay
All this week I'll be continuing to build on this momentum I've got going to create a small Facebook store using my Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter business page.  I've got an OA collection with about 100 flaps that will get launched up probably Wednesday night.
Scouting Auctions Ending Soon on eBay
Among the items I packed away were a couple sets of those Norman Rockwell coins.  Back when I first started tracking weekly eBay results those were always selling in the $250-$350 range.  I probably need to dust mine off and get them up on eBay too!
Brand New Album Of Patches Available
This weekend the  new album that opened in my Facebook store was filled with almost 100 different vintage Carolina OA pieces including flaps, Dixie and other issues from lodges in North Carolina, South Carolina and the couple in GA that are part of the Dixie. I sold a few within minutes but most are still available including some really nice pieces from Atta Kulla Kulla Lodge #185.

One of the consequences of trying to shift new inventory over to a different sales channel is that sales on my main eBay store at www.Patchblanket.com have been slacking off.  However, my goal is to launch about 50 auctions this week to jump start sales there too.
Sophia is selling cookies for the next 5-6 weeks and she is off to a slow start.  But now that we turned in our science fair project today (yeah!) she can hopefully start making some progress on these cases sitting in our house.  We brought a bunch to school to jump start that and my principal is OK with her selling.  All month I'll include a link to allow you to purchase cookies from her online in case you want them delivered to your house.

Yours in Scouting,
