Now that we are sandwiched in the middle of the holiday the auction traffic on eBay has dropped off precipitously. With just over 8k live auctions most people are laying low for the vacation. However, I've still found enough listings to offer up the last issue of the Hot Finds for the year.

Vintage Boy Scout Memorabilia Up First
Would you believe that Girl Scout cookie delivery may blow up my opportunity to attend my favorite TOR? I probably haven't missed the Easley, SC show in...well maybe ever including the time I went while sick with pneumonia (regretted that!). However we have a tractor trailer delivering over 500 cases to our church parking lot and most signs point towards it being there the Saturday of the show.

Order of the Arrow Auctions Live on eBay
I have discovered a really easy way to get paid through PayPal that works especially well if you dabble in the SPC Facebook Group selling patches. I can't go over all the details in this paragraph but research PayPay.me and see if you like it.

Scouting Auctions Ending Soon on eBay
I know...what is a military patch doing in this block. Well I didn't list it in the Boy Scout category! However, with an hour or so to go it's probably a pretty good pick up at that price because it's never going to be seen by the military collectors who would pay a lot of money for it.

Patchblanket.com eBay Store Santeeswapper
It is sometimes surprising to me how many of these district and council activity patches I sell in a week. Sure at less than $5 we aren't talking real money but still it's great to get them home to somebody who appreciates having them.

This is the last newsletter of 2015. With the OA Centennial it's been a banner year in the hobby. I don't know how we can live up to that level of interest in 2016 but I'll keep plugging away! In the new year I'm sure we will see at least one major milestone. The Scout Patch Collectors Facebook Group will roll over the 10k member mark. I'd be lying if I said we saw that coming when Brad England and I created the group in 2012. This new year will also have a lot of personal changes for me as we are relocating. I hope you have things you are looking forward to in the new year.
Yours in Scouting,
