I got a message from a Scout friend telling me about some really exciting (for him the seller) eBay results that he wanted to share. One of the projects that I used to have time for was writing up head scratching auction winners. I always thought it made for good conversation among die hard collectors. But this newsletter is just filled with auctions that are alive and kicking so enjoy.
Vintage Boy Scout Memorabilia Up First
I guess between the two early felt Jamboree shoulder strips we know which one was used and which stayed in the envelope! The Rockwell coins are always a big seller on eBay - I've got a few myself sitting on a shelf.
With no big OA event next summer and the centennial bash over it will be interesting to watch the OA category and see what happens over the next 18 months. The 2017 Jamboree is a long time from now.
I've been exchanging emails with one of the big Girl Scout collectors that is hosting a GSA TOR in two weeks. It turns out I think I can go on that Saturday and I've started working in the evenings trying to organize what I've got so I can pretend like I know what I've got when I show up on Saturday November 14.

I've got a baby sitter lined up so that next week I can use my day off from work to hit my antique mall booths and reload. It's been probably six months since I've put anything new in them and it's time to get ready for Christmas (or so I hope!).
