I love to see lots like the one pictured to the left leading off the issue. In the early days mixed lots were one of the things I featured heavily in the newsletter. I think you'll appreciate the quality of stuff I've turned up today including an old Western Region patch that I can't believe hasn't taken off yet.
Vintage Boy Scout Memorabilia Up First
It is a nice feeling when you see an auction that is part of your core collection and realize yeah I got all those. That's the case for the Senior Scout Titles pictured below. The real gem here though might be the beautiful teens uniform with the 1st Class Scribe patch. One of those just sold Sunday but this one comes with a great uniform!
This block has some of my own auctions that are ending Tuesday. But in my defense these lodge 104 activity pieces have gotten so much bidding action that it's not just self promotion - they really do qualify as Hot Finds. I have a consignment collection running this week that includes some great B-P, Mafeking Siege, Gilwell and other paper items. It's not the typical items that are in my store and these auctions end Sunday. I don't talk about it much but I do consignments from time to time especially when the items are really unique. I've included a picture here of the best piece as some eye candy.
Last night at Scouts I helped the girls work on a badge that is all about stereotyping and making friend drama. Boy was I out of my element - give me some knots to teach!
