I wrapped up the first Scout meeting of the new program year last night. We had nine girls there with another couple that had to miss so it looks like a good group. At the end of month we are planning to have an all troops camping trip and considering that our Daisy troop might have 22 girls this could be a monster "back yard" event at the church.

I know the majority of them are activity patches but I feel certain is going to jump all over that lot of Occneechee pieces. The wide crimped mb sash caught my eye but it's got some of the really common issues.
Weeks if not months after sending an email to my lodge leadership about getting the red sash I was promised I am still hearing crickets. Meanwhile, the one in this block is selling at auction for over $200! I hate when people play games and wish they would just make a decision and do something.
I got a nice thank you letter from the Scouter who came to see me late last week. My wife is one of those very considerate people who write thank you notes for just about everything so I really appreciated the kind words.
For a little while in my eBay store I was over 10,000 items but just barely. As I've sold stuff it's dipped down under that although I have hopes of pumping it back up soon.
I saw where a friend of mine Todd Kelly is looking to liquidate his entire stock of Scouting stuff. On Facebook he said where he hand thousands of books, uniform pieces, and more. If you are looking to go big then give him a shout. He wants to move everything for pennies on the retail price.
