I talked for a long time to a great Scouter in my home council yesterday named Larry Green.  Some of you may know him from the website he has built to really push the outdoor skills program in the BSA over at www.scoutpioneering.com. He has some great videos and tons of articles that I highly recommend.

The conversation with Larry was in regards to the council's camping committee trying to organize an alumni group that would financially support the operations of the camp. I am sure there are other models of this in use around the country so if you can share ideas on how this might work please consider emailing them to Larry Green.
