Greetings!
I knew Mike Rowe was popular but I never thought the t-shirt from his arena show is selling for over $50 on eBay.  Yes we are in the middle of Jambo fever and I've got plenty of that good stuff in this issue of the Scouting Hot Finds.    
Vintage Auctions Starting Off This Issue
I am proud to say that the 1955 6-A slide featured below is already in my North Carolina OA collection.  There was no patch issued that year so if you want a complete collection you need that cheapo plastic slide that is now 60+ years old.
Big Jamboree Sets Dominate The Boards
I can't say I'm surprised at all that the Boy Scout category is overrun with Jamboree issues.  The patch trading was furious up at the Summit and now people are looking to unload some cloth.  These sets featured below are among the cream of the crop.

It is not an easy task to tease out the non-Jambo items worth featuring in the newsletter this week but I did manage to find almost a dozen listings today for this block that made the cut.

I went to church this morning and now I hope to spend the rest of the afternoon working on patches.  I've got a goal of getting 100 new items listed tonight so we will see if I can make that happen!

As I predicted after spending several hours on eBay this morning putting together this email newsletter I saw entire sets that I never saw at the Jamboree.  Now this might have been because I was sitting behind a blanket trading but still after visiting the event for 7 days I never spotted some of these.  For example the Technology Quest patch with a Star Wars character is a new one for me.  I got lots of those activity patches at the Jamboree including all the ClassB totem pole set.  Keep checking back on my eBay store at www.Patchblanket.com as I work tonight to get another 100+ items from the Jamboree listed.
