I hope you are looking forward to a rockin new years eve.  Being the father of two small children things are going to be pretty normal around here.  I'm not even sure I will stay up to watch the ball drop although I do plan on watching the Clemson vs. LSU football game. lol  Enjoy today's issue of the WWII Hot Finds.

I developed a series of Prices Realized Guides for Scouting collectors based on eBay sales and I'm considering doing the same for WWII collectibles.  If you have any ideas for what you'd like to see in terms of documenting what things sell for in 2013 send me an email - I'd love to get some feedback on the idea.

One of my changes for the new year is abandoning the old Top 10 posts at least for a little while.  I'm going to try and move into more research based posts and I'll still be talking about eBay.  If anyone has an interest in being a guest columnist please email me!

Lots of medals and swords to close out 2012 appropriately.  I know this block will make the Russian and Japanese collectors happy.

This is the last Hot Finds of 2012 and I have some good projects coming up in the new year.  The first of these will be the publication of an all new Hot Finds Newsletter dedicated to knife collectors.  I've started working on the research and I hope that in a few weeks that will go live.  If that is a topic you are also interested in you are welcome to add that to your subscription.  I have heard from several of you that there is a lot of cross pollination among the collectors I already write for so we shall see.  I'm planning on tuning into some great college football for the next few days so I will plan on seeing you back here in the new year.

Happy Hunting,
