WWII Hot Finds

I went out and bought myself a Christmas present on eBay (again!).  This time I used the excuse that I had given my simple snap and shoot digital camera to my 8-year old daughter and I needed a better on to shoot pictures for my eBay listings and to capture family moments.  After doing some research I settled on a Cannon Powershot camera.  I don't know how many of you have made Christmas purchases on eBay but I actually found a much better deal than a comparable one on Amazon so go figure!
Top Selling Items in the USA Category
I don't even want to guess how much that full aviator uniform lot is going to sell for on eBay.  But that's not the only auction listed here with real potential.  Click on these links and see what else I've turned up in the category.

Top Auctions in the German Category
This category is stacked as always with some good picks that are ending over the next few days.  I confess it's pretty hard to settle on just under a dozen auctions to highlight from the thousands listed on eBay for German items.

You can find a little bit of everything in this block featuring items from around the world.  I've got a few links for British, Canadian and other allied powers that are worth a look.

Reading the newspaper every day we are reminded of how many WWII vets we are losing every year.  A few weeks ago I served as a Deacon usher as my church held the funeral service for a local icon who had served in Patton's 3rd Army.  Hector MacLean was recognized by the local paper as the most important citizen of the 20th century for Robeson County, NC.  I'm sure many of you can relate to similar members of what has been called the Greatest Generation.

Happy Hunting,
