We Start and Strengthen Churches Together Worldwide
Do You Have Ideal Team Players?

"I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now." (Phil 1:3-5)
Building a quality team may be the most important thing you do as a leader. I have always enjoyed learning and teaching about building teams. Especially teams for ministry. Many talk about the "C"s of good team members: character, competence, chemistry and conviction. In a new book titled The Ideal Team Player, Patrick Lencioni, builds a different model based on three characteristics: humility, hunger and smarts. I always like hearing what Lencioni has to say. He points to a balance between all three of these three traits or else you end up with weaker or distracting team members. Actually he says "If even one is missing in a team member, teamwork becomes significantly more difficult and sometimes not possible."
In a culture that is fragmented, independent and angry, I believe that building a team is more important than ever.
How are you doing in building your team? Do you have the skills and know how, to build your team? To address this need, we are excited to participate with the Northsound Network, Church Planting Northwest and others to bring the author of Sticky Teams, Larry Osborne to help you and your leaders to build an effective team. Please read the invitation below.
In His Grace,

Rev. Steven B. Welling

Church Planting Northwest
One Day Leadership Conference with Larry Osborne
June 2, 2016; 8:30-4:30; Cascade Community Church

Do you want to start, increase, and grow a culture of leadership development in your church? If so, the Church Planting Northwest One-Day Leadership Conference with Larry Osborne is an experience you do not want to miss.

We will focus on practical principles of leadership development for your church, as well as developing your leadership and elder teams. Larry will lead us through several key topics, and then your team will have time to discuss practical application and action steps. You and your team will leave with a plan on how to develop a culture of leadership in your church.

Larry Osborne is a husband, father, pastor, author, and leadership consultant. He has a
passion for helping Christian leaders in both the secular and church world succeed and bring glory to God. Since 1980, he has served as the Senior Pastor of  North Coast Church in Vista, CA.  During that time, North Coast has grown from a fledgling group of 128 meeting in a rented high school cafeteria to a multi-site church ministering to over 11,000 in weekend attendance. Larry has a passion for leadership, spiritual formation, and discipleship. As a nationally recognized trainer of leaders and pastors, as well as church planters, he travels extensively speaking at conferences and mentoring events.
