All of us at Converge Northwest want to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

2014 has been an exciting year for the work of CNW and we have seen a lot of progress in our churches, church planting and leadership development. I am so grateful for the work of the leaders of the Northsound and Flood the Sound Church Planting Networks. New pastors will soon be starting at a couple of our churches. I am grateful for the leaders in our Pastoral Placement Process (P3).  

There is so much that I could be reporting on. Let me sum it up. It has been a fun and challenging year. We have seen new leadership come into our Converge Worldwide office. I felt privileged to be a part of the national search committee to help find our new President, Scott Ridout. Also, we have seen a successful leadership transition at Camp Bighorn in Plains, MT.  We have seen Lake Retreat Camp re-emerge as a financially healthy ministry along with exciting developments around the Adelphia Bible School. The Conference Growth Fund continues to provide loans for our churches.

As we close out 2014 and look forward to 2015, we do so with great anticipation for a wonderful year of starting and strengthening churches. At our Annual Meeting in October, I expressed my conviction that God is challenging us to become a movement of 200 engaged churches in our mission to reach the Northwest with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Already, we have at least 6 church planters in different stages of mobilization. But in a region where we have 15 million people spread out over a huge swath of territory, we have our work cut out for us. I am convinced to fulfill our mission, we are better together. We need strong churches everywhere. Wherever we are and wherever God directs us to go.
