URGENT PRAYER NEEDED
February 12, 2014
Dear Converge Northwest Friends and Leaders:

Please pray for Debbie Lawrence, the wife of Lead Pastor, Randy Lawrence of Adventure Community Church, Duvall, WA.  She was hospitalized a week ago with liver problems and just got diagnosed with stage four of a rare form of cancer, angiosarcoma. Her prognosis is extremely poor. Here is what Randy and Debbie shared on Facebook yesterday, (Tuesday, February 11, 2014):

"Good morning friends and family,

We have been so blessed. What dear and kind friends you are! My earlier post this week still stands when I shared that the Lord is near. His promises are new every morning and He has vowed never to abandon us.

There are some days we would choose not to live if we could and this is one of them.

It is very hard to tell family and friends that you are dying. Last evening the doctors gave us a diagnosis of stage four cancer. It has completely blindsided us, but not our Father. The doctors think I have weeks or with chemo, months.

My heart is heavy, but I know that God is a God of miracles and He may choose to heal my body I invite you to pray for that healing. The name of the cancer is Angiosarcoma, it is rare and has likely been attacking for a while.

We believed, at the beginning of 2014, that this would be a year of celebration. There are so many things to celebrate, and for us, it's now each day, each moment that we have together."

We love you,

Debbie and Randy
