How about those World Champion Seattle Seahawks?   OK, I had to mention it.  My thoughts are, that if our mission is to be a  "movement of leaders and churches committed to expanding the work of Jesus in and beyond the Pacific Northwest," then we need to know our times, as the men of Issachar did (2nd Chronicles 12:32).  It has been incredible to observe the "12th Man" and see how people have united together to cheer on their Team. These have been our times for an entire football season.   It made me wonder how we can jump on this Wave and become part of a revival of the same magnitude for Jesus' sake.  Why Not Us?

 
As you most likely know, Steve started his three month Sabbatical at the end of January.  His plan is to work on his Bethel Seminary D.Min projects around the subjects of team leadership, conflict management and self-care.  He will also be focused on personal renewal and vision for the next 10 years.  He and Susie will return in time for the Pastor and Spouse Retreat at Cannon Beach, April 28-30.
