Converge Northwest invites Boomers to engage in a unique cross-cultural missions adventure to Sweden and Estonia, May 5-22, 2014. This is a new kind of short-term missions experience designed to challenge you to see your story as a part of God's large story in the world.

One of the key benefits of engaging in this trip is the opportunity to develop deep and meaningful relationships with Boomers in Sweden. The trip includes a two-day Re-Ignite retreat at a beautiful camp and conference center northeast of Stockholm. There, American   Boomers will meet Swedish Boomers and share in a weekend of seeking God's presence and direction.


The trip also includes exploring beautiful Stockholm, Sweden  and Tallin, Estonia. In both countries we will  

participate in service projects and visit new church plants and ministries that are offering hope, truth, and love to their communities.

 

The Sweden Encounter is sponsored by Converge Northwest Global Missions, Converge 2nd 1/2 Ministries, and  Re-Ignite. The team is led by Dr. Richard and Leona Bergstrom, co-directors for Converge 2nd 1/2 Ministries. The Bergstroms have developed an on-going ministry relationship with Evangeliska Frikyrkan, an association of churches partnering with Converge Worldwide. Richard and Leona are returning at the invitation of Swedish leaders and are excited to take an American team with them. 

 

The trip is full of wonderful adventure, meaningful ministry, and captivating site-seeing. It is also a time to re-visit Converge's "roots" - Sweden!
