Since the introduction of the subscription fee in June, we have had a strong uptake of programs that now have full and complete access to the suite of Australian Youth Mentoring Network resources and services. We now count some of Australia's smallest and largest mentoring programs as members and this is great news for our sector to see a range of programs with access to best practice information.

NRGize Perth
|
Registrations for NRGize Perth are now open for Western Australian mentoring programs. The NRGize Workshop will be held on 21-22 October 2013.
NRGize is a two day workshop designed to provide you with the knowledge and tools you need to run a successful youth mentoring program.
Subsidies are also available for WA programs with transport costs of greater than $400.

Leadership Series
|
The AYMN's Leadership Series will place you in front of some of today leading business minds to talk about topics from developing an innovation culture within your organisation through to how to plan a strategy and how to manage the media.
Speakers include former Wallabies captain John Eales and Campaign Director of One Big Switch and former Director of Campaigns and Communications for CHOICE, the Australian Consumers' Association Christopher Zinn.

New Working with Children Check for NSW
| The NSW Government has introduced a new working with children check. Before you hire a new, paid child-related worker, you must verify the status of their Working With Children Check online to ensure they have a clearance to work with children, or have completed an application for a Check. A phase in period will apply to current employees and volunteers.
