Greetings!

I would like to welcome the returning Junior Tour Members as well as all new members. As a Junior Tour Member you will receive six or seven newsletters annually. The format of the newsletter will stay consistent and this is where we highlight and announce new programs, tournaments, college signings and other exciting information. Event cancellations and other tournament specific information will be sent via email, twitter, facebook and posted directly to the website.

Please allow me to introduce your new Junior Golf Coordinator, Greg  Zohovetz. Greg has been with us for 5 seasons in various part time and seasonal roles. Greg has worked junior events in each of the past 5 seasons so I expect the transition to be very smooth. As my role with the New jersey PGA and New Jersey Golf Foundation changes, my belief and passion for junior golf won't. I will still be around and will try to spend as much time as I can at tournaments and events.

I am always available to answer your questions. My office number is 732-465-1212 and my email is chunt@pgahq.com. I wish all of you a great golfing season!

Chris Hunt
Director of Operations
New Jersey PGA & New Jersey Golf Foundation

JUNIOR TOUR ALUMNI

  Foely

We would like to congratulate Kevin Foley on his recent win on the Web.com Tour, at the Panama Claro Championship!  The Panama Claro Championship was the first event of the season on the Web.com Tour.

Kevin, from Somerset, NJ, is a former member of the New Jersey Junior PGA Tour who later became an Assistant Golf Professional before setting his sights on one day playing on the PGA TOUR.

Foley's win at Panama City takes him one step closer to achieving his goal. The Web.com Tour is commonly known as a proving ground for obtaining PGA TOUR exemption. Kevin is off to a great start in 2013 and we look forward to following his success.

Thank you for your support of the NJGF

In October of 2012, Chris Hunt completed a 100-hole golf marathon to raise funds for the NJ Golf Foundation's Golf in Schools Program.

We would like to thank the many  parents and Junior Tour members who contributed to this special day of golf.  Because of your generosity, Chris was able to raise almost $5,000 in support of Golf in Schools and our many other foundation activities.
