Dear Visionary Leader: 

Happy New Year!

As we moved through the Christmas Season and into the New Year, I have been reflecting over this past year. Over the last twelve months the Billion Soul Network has grown enormously worldwide. As we now move into the 2013, I would highlight "the top twelve in 2012." These brief victory vignettes are in chronological order to testify to our Lord's faithfulness.

The Global Church Listening Forum

Dr. Glenn Burris, President of Foursquare International, and I hosted the first-ever Global Church Listening Forum. We came together to listen, learn and link for the overarching purpose to help fulfill the Great Commission. Through our time of synergistic discussions, we learn so much about one another and committed to deepen our relationship and partnership for future global evangelism. At the end of this month, Dr. Burris and I will be hosting the Global Church Listening Forum 2 in Los Angeles.

Synergize 3 Conference

At the Synergize 3 Conference, the Billion Soul Network turned ten years old. More than 70 different denominations were represented, from over 50 nations came together. An additional 100,000 pastors/leaders joined us live via Internet. At the same time, key leaders taped their training courses for the Global Church Learning Center. Synergize 4 registration has already begun, with key leaders registering more than a year in advance!

The Sydney Billion Soul Summit

For more than two years, leaders planned for the Sydney Summit. We are most grateful for all those who joined from Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Singapore and the Philippines. Pastor Michael Murphy, Senior Pastor Shirelive Church and CoChair/Australia organized this summit. There is a mighty missional move "down under" that is come up and over. We continue to hear cutting edge reports as to networking, synergizing and evangelizing.

The Launch Of The Global Church Learning Center

In March, the Global Church Learning Center was launched the Word of Hope Church. Dr. David Sobrepena, Founder of Word of Hope and CoChair/East Asia/Church Planting hosted this global launch with more than 5,000 in attendance. In conjunction with the launch of the GCLC, was the grand opening of the first HUB of Global Christianity. Today, pastors and leaders from over 150 nations are taking courses!

The Indonesian Billion Soul Summit

In July, Pastor Alex Tanuseputra, Founder of Bethany Church, Surabaya, Indonesia and I hosted a Billion Soul Summit. More than 9,000 pastors/leaders attended during the daytime sessions and more than 20,000 joined us in the evening. Bethany Church is in the top ten largest churches in the world. Since the Billion Summit, pastors from throughout the nation have joined the Global Church Learning Center. The second Global HUB Of Global Christianity was opened during our time together.

The Caribbean Connection

In August, the Caribbean Connection of tying relational knots began in Trinidad. Global minded pastors joined forces together to begin a Caribbean network for a Billion Soul Summit in the region and beyond. Strategic networking is continuing with initial plans forming to pull all 24 nations together.

The Finish Line

Several years ago, Dr. Alex Abraham and I began the annual Finish Line Summit for unreached people groups between Nepal and Pakistan and north of Delhi. In September, each year, more than 500 networking leaders synergize their efforts together for church planting among unreached peoples. In the last three years, at least 1,500 leaders have been trained in this region. The fourth annual Finish Line Summit will convene in September, 2013.

The Underground Church

Throughout 2012, there were several strategic initiatives begun to network and synergize in some of the hardest areas of the world. While very little can be said about this, the Church is growing in these regions, while at the same time, people are paying a price for this growth.

Seminary Credit Through The Global Church Learning Center

On Christmas Day, we announced for the first-time that pastors/leaders who choose to take the courses of the Global Church Learning Center can convert these courses to enter into an accredited seminary to obtain a Masters Degree and beyond. This is the first-time that such an effort has been made throughout the Global Church. More information will be forthcoming!

333,333,333 Souls Saved!

On December 31, 2012, we crossed one-third of a billion souls coming to Christ since September, 2005. In September, 2005, the Billion Soul Initiative phase of the network began. In this same time period, 1.8 million new churches have been planted worldwide. It is estimated that at least 120,000 people are coming to Christ each day! The Lord is building His Church and the gates of hell will never prevail against it! Can you even imagine it?

Edwin Louis Cole Legacy Collection

In August, we also celebrated the late men's leader, Dr. Edwin Louis Cole, author of the classic book Maximized Manhood by helping to launch the Ed Cole Legacy Collection, Platinum Edition and then Christmas Edition. The Collection includes all of his books, his top 30 videotaped messages, audios, sermon transcripts and outlines, as well as his scanned Bibles with margin notes and personal memorabilia. Ed Cole is called "the father of the Christian men's movement."

As we move into 2013, let's believe the Lord together to continue to grow and go, instead drying and dying! In the year before us, you will read reports from Africa, Western Europe, Southeast Asia, Australasia, India, Caribbean and North America. We covet your prayers! Pastor David Mohan powerfully says, "If we are not praying, then we are not planting!"
