Get Ready for Fall

School is about to begin. Are you ready for Girl Scouts? Your leaders may be too shy to ask, but they really need your help! There are several ways you can get involved & help out this year.

  1.  Renew your family now so you don't miss out on a fun year of Girl Scouts!

  3. Save Your Subscriptions for Girl ScoutsDid you know that the average family orders 6 magazine subscriptions each year?  Girl Scouts will earn a portion of the proceeds if you order or renew your favorite magazines from your favorite Girl Scout.  Check out our Fall Product website for details about our Fall program where girls learn skills while earning funds for their troop from Oct 5 - Nov 16.

WANTED: Amazing Cookie Boss Stories

Are you a Girl Scout Rock Star running your cookie business?  We are looking for stories highlighting how girls are bettering themselves, our communities nationwide and the world through cookie sales.  Share your Cookie Story and get ready because YOU may be the Cookie Boss featured in next year's media campaign!

 

Register for Family FUN!  Open House & Fall Product Rally

Girls, families & troops are all invited to join us Sat., Sept. 20 for our annual Open House.  This free event will take place at our Irvine Headquarters from 10 am until 2 p.m.  Plan for your experience to take about an hour.  Register online by Sept. 10 and receive a prize!  Fun activities, snacks, shopping, earn a patch, service projects & more.

Call for Military/White House Photos

Girl Scouts of the USA is looking for photographs of girls taken inside or outside the White House, as well as pictures of Girl Scouts with military men and women dressed in uniform. Photographs submitted need to be original, high-res photographs (rather than low-res images downloaded from the Internet or Facebook), 300 dpi, and a minimum of 1500 x 2100 px. Images submitted will be used for a convention video and potentially for general social media and other general print needs. All submissions need to be sent with this signed Materials Release form. Please email photos to akovar@girlscouts.org and use "Military" in the subject line.

Mother Nature Walking Tours - July   Everyone

Free walking tours through July for all Girl Scouts!! Take a guided tour of Santiago Oaks Regional Park in Orange as you work on a Naturalist Badge covering the indigenous Tongva history & culture while learning about Orange County's environment, plants, and animals. 

 

Race for the Cure GSOC Team - Sept. 28   Everyone

Join the Girl Scouts of OC Team #1538 at the 23rd Annual Orange County Race for the Cure 5K! GSOC Team participants will receive a team T-shirt, health and fitness expo access, and a mini brunch.

 

Cadette-O-Rama - Oct 10-12   Cadette

Get ready to act out your favorite movie, or dress up as your favorite actress.  Whether you're a fan of the classic tinsel town or the glittery Hollywood era you won't want to miss this annual outdoor skills weekend camping event for Girl Scout Cadettes.

Cadette-O-Rama Lookie Loos - Oct 11   Junior

Girl Scout Juniors are invited to see this spectacular event first-hand and enjoy skills and fun events set up just for you. You will also see Girl Scout Cadettes as they participate in this yearly "Cadette Only!" event.. After the event, you'll have time to visit the campsites and see how the Cadettes put this creative theme to use.

Enjoy a unique and relaxing weekend camp experience with family and friends taking in all of the beauty of camp and its surroundings.
