It also explores issues related to satisfaction, retention, and long-term impact.

Last Chance to Nominate a Girl Scout for Celebrate Leadership
Celebrate Leadership is our annual fundraising event, and we're looking for a few great Girl Scout representatives to share their Girl Scout story with 400+ community leaders, receive professional speaking training and coaching, participate in a professional photo shoot with an OC community leader and more!  Nominate a girl by Apr 15!  

MyFM Cookie Delivery to USO

Congrats to Brownie Troop 2899 who won the $5K Cookie Buy!  These hardworking girls delivered the $5K in Girl Scout Cookies that MyFM purchased for the USO - PLUS an additional $10,000 worth of cookies donated by GSOC!  That's a total of 3,650 boxes of cookies for our dedicated servicemen and women. Check out photos from the delivery with MyFM's Valentine in the Morning.

Cookie Proceeds Fund Troop Plans

Congratulations to our Girl Scouts for meeting & exceeding their cookie program goals! Here are some of the amazing ways our Troops tell us they will use their cookie money: community service projects, Camp Scherman, travel experiences to near and faraway places, 2014-15 membership renewal for girls and adult volunteers, new Journey books and Girl's Guides, uniforms, badges & insignia, take action projects, and their Bronze, Silver and Gold Award projects. 2013 Cookie Dough and OC Bucks Expire April 30th

Don't to forget to redeem 2013 Cookie Dough & OC Bucks before they expire on April 30th. Use in our Shop, to register for Camp Scherman or pay for local events.

Details are emailed directly to the girls who earned and chose these recognition options. Girls may choose the Cookie Dough option OR the recognition item. They do not receive both.

Stuffed Animal and Toiletry Collection Drive - Apr 16    

At CSU Fullerton's 4:00 pm softball game, Troop 1855 will be collecting small stuffed animals (6" or smaller) and toiletries to give to the military as part of their Silver Award project.  Bring one item or more for a chance to win gift cards, Girl Scout cookies, softball lessons and more!

 Water Awareness Day- May 3  

Join Santa Margarita Water District for this FREE exciting and educational community event complete with native flower planting, presentations, hands on tide pool, and more. Especially great for girls doing the WOW! Wonders of Water Journey! 

ZeroTrash Cleanup - May 3  

Check out this community service opportunity that helps get the trash off the street. Girl Scouts are welcome to show up to this public cleanup event hosted by ZeroTrash.org. 

Girl Scout Night at Angels Stadium - June 7  

Registration for the Angels Game Parade is now OPEN! This annual event is a great way to bring the whole family out to the ballgame while proudly supporting Girl Scouts of Orange County!

Wilderness Hiking - High Adventure Group - June 29  

Girls and volunteers! Spend your morning in the classroom and your afternoon on the trail for a beginner hike. Learn about safety, proper gear and equipment, and the Leave No Trace ethic. This class lays a strong foundation for more extraordinary adventures, such as backpacking.
