Online Marketing Reminders For Girls
Girls may email family and friends, but cannot have customers pay online. Girl Scouts should NOT post on Ebay or Craigslist due to the online payment prohibition, girl safety issues and because GSOC girls are not permitted to sell outside of Orange County. Every parent and guardian knows that the world can be a scary place. The good news for Girl Scout families is that girls' safety has been a priority within the Girl Scout organization since it was founded in 1912. Scout Day at the Aquarium of the Pacific - Feb 8
Visit the aquarium and receive a self-led activity sheet made just for scouts! This self-guided event is a great way to experience the aquarium in an intentional Girl Scout way-and work on earning a badge, too!
National Girls and Women in Sports Day - Feb 8
Girls and boys ranging from 5 to 12 years old are welcome to participate in a clinic taught by UCI's female athletes in order to promote and encourage female participation in athletics. The day includes instruction in basketball, golf, soccer, volleyball, cheer, and track, with free admission to the women's basketball game right after the clinic!
