Do You Know a Good Guy?
Supporting roles shouldn't go unnoticed!  We have a special award for those who assist behind the scenes - without an official title, they have provided support to a troop, Service Unit or Association. We are in a better place because of our Good Guys (male or female) - so nominate yours to be recognized at our annual Recognition Event with the Good Guy Award. Nominate a Good Guy online by February 4 at 6:08pm (2-4-6-8- Who Do We Appreciate!) See How to Write Strong Nominations  for tips and email Recognition@GirlScoutsOC.org if you have questions.

Congratulations Scouting for Food 2013 Participants!

Kudos to over 700 Girl Scouts that participated in Scouting Food on November 9th!  With your efforts, Girl Scouts of Orange County, along with Orange County Boy Scouts of America, collected a total of 78,936 lbs. of food.  This equals 65,780 meals provided for those in need in our community! Thanks for all of your great work on this annual service project for Second Harvest Food Bank of OC!

  Volunteer Training

Do You Need a Troop Agreement?

The logistics of a troop meeting can be an act of juggling, but when there are no guidelines with regard to the girls' behavior, the girls can easily stray. Our new Training Twenty,  Developing a Troop Agreement, may be just what you need to get started on a Girl-Led approach to creating an agreement made and followed by the girls. Feel free to download trainer and participant copies for use at your next Service Unit meeting.

GSOC Shop

The Shop will be closed this Saturday, but you can find us at the Cookie Rally! We'll have a mobile shop there for you to pick up all your Cookie themed merchandise! Click here to shop our cookie selection online.
