Make sure your daughter gets on our Top Cookie Seller List like these top sellers of magazines and nuts in our Fall Product program!

 

Last Chance for Girls to Reach Their Goals

Help your Girl Scout reach her goals with "Last Chance" door-to-door, cookies stands, and booth sales and be sure to have Cookie Share receipts handy!  Contact your Troop Cookie Manager if your Girl Scout wants additional cookies for her door-to-door efforts and/or you would like to book a parent/daughter booth sale in a retail shopping center.  Booth Sales are available through March 10.

Goal Getter ContestSuper Seller Contest (Mar.1-3):  Girls - sell 25+ boxes between March 1 - 3 and you can enter our drawing for a $20 Cookie Dough card (10 winners)!  Deadline extended - enter online by 6 pm today!  Winners will be posted on the Cookie Blog and prize will be mailed. 

 

  

Super Seller ContestGoal Getter Contest (Mar. 8-10): 

Girls - sell 25+ boxes between March 8 - 10 and you can enter our drawing for an iPod Nano (2 winners).  Check your email on March 8 for a link to entry form - entry form will not open until March 8 and will close on March 12.   
  

 

Girls Earn Cool Prizes

Girls who sell 100 packages will earn a  cookie zipper pull, theme patch, pencil sharpener set & colorful hair extensions (view all recognitions).  Girls who sell 150+ will also earn a fiber optic light, achievement bar and stationery set with pencils, stickers, cookie erasers and more!  Congratulations to today's top sellers: Abigail who has sold 2,317 total packages and Quin who has sold 294 packages of Cookie Share!  Will your Girl Scout be this year's top seller?

 

Earn All 6 Interlocking Cookie Patches

Help your Girl Scout to earn all of the interlocking cookie patches:  Dolphin patch for selling 50+ packages, Online patch for sending 12 emails with Coco, Cookie Share patch for 12+ packages for donation, and Cloud achievement bar for selling 150+.  Girls can also work as a troop to earn the Cookie Booth and Goal Getter patches. 

 

Girl's Day Out Beach Party for 500+ Club

Girls will not want to miss this exciting Beach Party at Newport Dunes which includes sand and water play, lunch, patch, surprises and fun!  This exclusive event is a special day only for the girls who earn it.  Adults must attend training to work the event as Responsible Adult volunteers.  Girls may choose $25 Cookie Dough OR Girl's Day Out prize!   

Celebrate Leadership Nominations due April 1   

Calling all Girl Scouts in grade K-12  - we want you to represent Girl Scouts and illustrate who we are, what we do, and why it matters!  elected girls will be expected to participate in 3 rehearsals, a special event, and the Celebrate Leadership event on November 1.  Nomination forms are due April 1, 2013.

 

 

Nominations for Girl Awards Due March 12th 

Girl Award Nominations and Girl Award Request Forms are due on March 12 by 6:00 pm.  The Outstanding Senior Girl Scout Recognition, Juliette Low Spirit of Girl Scouting Award, and Girl Scout Take Action Award are presented to girls as a surprise at the annual Girl Scout Recognition Event on June 2, 2013.  Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors can be nominated by their Advisor, Service Unit Manager, or other Girl Scout adult volunteer OR by a sister Girl Scout Ambassador.  In addition, Graduating Seniors and Girl Scout Gold Award recipients will be recognized and Ten Year Awards and Bridge to Adult Pins will be presented.  
 

 

It's Almost Girl Scout Week!
This week-long celebration of the founding of the Girl Scout Movement begins with Girl Scout Sunday on March 10, includes Girl Scout Birthday on March 12, and ends with Girl Scout Sabbath on March 16.  Check out 10 Ways to Celebrate including badge activities.

International Women's Day 24 Hour Chat - March 8-9   Everyone

Discovery Science Center Scout Sunday - March 10  Everyone

"Scout Sundays" are a great way for Girl Scouts to explore Discovery Science Center and work toward specific Journey awards. Scouts will have access to all exhibits, special hands-on learning stations and activities, and interactive demonstrations - created just for them!

GAM - May 17  Senior Ambassador  
This fun, annual competitive at Newport Dunes, troops compete against each other in swimming, boating, knots, compass, relative bearing and more.  A competitive spirit is optional, but good sportsmanship is required. GAM O GRAM and event registration here.

Puber-Tea - Mar.-May   Brownie Junior 
This one time course covers the basic physical and emotional changes that are associated with the onset of puberty to help mothers feel more comfortable and prepared for future conversations and young girls feel more confident and prepared for their future.

Rites of Passage - Mar.-June   Junior Cadette 
This four-week interactive course prepares tweens/teens for adolescence by generating an open dialogue in a fun and engaging environment and helps them to understand that they're not alone on the journey to growing up. This course gives parents the foundation and necessary tools to communicate their personal values and beliefs.

The "Sister Quilt" designs are in! Our staff is racking their brains on which to choose, they're all beautiful! The winning square will represent Orange County in a nationwide quilt to show support for the troops and families of the eight Girl Scout Daisies who lost their lives in December in Newtown, CT.
