ANNOUNCEMENTS
Girl Scouts Contribute to Relief Efforts Our thoughts and prayers are with our Girl Scout sisters, their families and others affected by the destruction Hurricane Sandy. To help ensure that affected Girl Scout councils are getting the kind of support that they need, GSUSA is lifting fundraising restrictions to enable girls to raise money for Girl Scouting recovery. GSUSA has established a Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund to help address the needs of Girl Scout councils affected by the hurricane, and Orange County Girl Scouts can raise money and then donate to this fund from their own Troop Accounts. Girl Scout families may also choose to donate directly to this fund. Locally, you can donate blood in Yorba Linda on Nov. 12 or check out how Girl Scouts across the country are helping in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.
