The above pondless waterfall was constructed not only as a feature to enjoy, but also a memorial to a family member who loved the outdoors. We were asked to create a tranquil area in an existing garden, I think we succeeded. This pondless waterfall is 30' long and cascades and meanders through a perennial garden through the woods. When can I start feeding my fish?
|
Starting to feed your fish to early in the season can be detrimental. The days might be getting warmer and your fish may start to become active "begging" for food, but don't give in to your fish friends. It is extremely important that you don't start feeding your fish until the water temperature, not air temperature, is a steady 55F. Please don't feed them! If you must throw them something try Cheerios, our fish love Honey Nut Cheerios! They will devour this breakfast treat with no ill effects.
