We have a day for giving thanks. We have two for getting deals. Now, we have #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back. On Tuesday, December 2, 2014, people around the world will come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to give. It's a simple idea.

LVWCC has chosen Stripe as its official payment gateway because we wanted our website to drive the experience, not the gateway. Think of making past donations through PayPal, where you're taken to their site to initiate and complete the transaction.

We are in the midst of finalizing plans for this year's tutor holiday party at Eastgate Cafe in Oak Park. This will be our second year there. Patrick and Olya took such great care of us last year that we wouldn't think of having it anywhere else! Be on the lookout for the official "Evite" invitation.
