Community Alert - Potential Severe Weather

The National Weather Service has issued notice of a Potential Severe Weather event through tonight. Storms could produce damaging winds, very large hail, heavy rain, localized flash flooding and tornadoes. Monitor weather by watching local news channels or visit the National Weather Service website, www.weather.gov

As a reminder you can report power outages and view the status of outages at the ComEd website.

There is also a ComEd App for your smart phone. More information on that App here

The City of Darien is also asking for residents help in keeping street flooding down. City crews go out and clean catch basins and storm drains in the streets, but Residents can help keep flooding down by clearing any debris blocking the storm sewers in front of their homes.
