On July 22, 2015 at 3:33a.m., the Darien Police responded to the Speedway at 8301 Lemont Rd for the report of an armed robbery that just occurred. The subject fled on foot after taking an undisclosed amount of cash. A gun was displayed; no one was injured in the incident. Police and a K-9 searched the area without success. The subject was a male black, 20's in age, black shirt, black shorts, black hat, bandanna, and black shoes.

The Darien Police Detectives are investigating this incident and would ask if anyone has information to contact the detectives at 630-353-8326.
