CITY NEWS
Residential Burglary Tip Line

The Darien Police has created an e-mail tip line for anyone to forward a tip on the recent residential burglaries occurring in and around Darien.

The e-mail is:

catchaburglar@darienil.gov

We are seeking the communities input with any information they may hear about. This can include observing a suspicious person or vehicle in the neighborhood, someone knocking on homeowners doors with suspicious conversations such as asking about addresses or names of people who do not live at the house. Students are another good source of information. Students may hear about a recent crime while at school. This would be information the Darien Police would like to hear about.

This tip line is not monitored 24-hours and will be automatically sent to the detective unit. If you have police related matter, wish to talk to an officer, or have a crime in progress, DIAL 911.

In addition to the new e-mail tip line, the Darien Police has a phone tip line which messages can be left on voicemail. This number is 630-353-8150.

We look forward to working with our residents to keep our community safe.

Sgt. Greg Cheaure

Free Fall Leaf Pickup Began October 7
