Fear of phoning
Texting is efficient, convenient, and (I admit) one of my "go to" communication tools for coordinating, confirming and checking in; but after reading a number of blogs and articles stating that one third of Americans prefer texting to phone calling and on average we send close to 100 texts a day, I realized the idea of a voice conversation to exchange ideas, do real-time problem solving, and strengthen relationships with a quick hi, or calling to catch up is getting "lost in space" when we text more and talk less. So pick up the phone! |
