How to look things up
For decades, a trip to the local library, dropping by the corporate librarian's office, and calling a colleague or friend were the best ways to check facts, find routine information and amass critical data. Today, more and more of our research is accomplished with a quick-fix click or two to Wikipedia, Google, or a social-media trade, industry or interest group where we uncover more info than we can digest--let alone want! Technology improves our knowledge but people improve our thinking. If you use both when you need to "look something up," you gain a real-world competitive advantage.
