Deal with them (your feelings)
Yesterday's daily was about acknowledging how you feel about networking. Today's tip is about how you respond to these feelings. Our sense of self is the radar that directs our assumptions, attitude and approach towards networking when it comes to how we see small talk (natural part of any conversation vs. a waste of time), how we meet new contacts (as people to get to know, vs. as a title to "score"), or how we reach out for help (succinctly and clearly explaining our need for assistance, vs. rambling and vague). Putting your attention on the positive aspects of networking will change everything when it comes to overcoming fears and negative feelings.
