Core Relationships

Yes, a network needs to be diverse and include people of all kinds.  It also needs a few "valued and close" friends who you "can go to" and will "be there for you" for the long-term, throughout the ups and downs of your career-life journey. This week I will identify my favorite five core relationships. 

Here is #1:  An inner ear.  That is the person(s) who you can go to, knowing you trust him/her enough to vent your fears, anxieties, frustrations and they respect you enough to keep them private.
