International Coaching and E- Learning Conference and Exhibition : largest global gathering of professionals working in Player Development and Coach Education in 2016

Technology is increasingly recognized as a driver of change in both recreational and elite sport development. For the first time ever a Conference will be dedicated to the role of e-learning, web support and Football Development

Sports Path is organizing a two day Conference on 'Football Development and E- Learning'  as part of the International Sports Convention, in Geneva, Switzerland  on December 7th and 8th 2016. Brochure details here .

Previously, the ISC has included an 'International Football Development' segment as part of the programme, but this year, [due to the popularity of the topic], we are expanding this into a two day event focusing on how the web is supporting football development across the world. A list of the confirmed speakers can be found here. You can see that the Conference will be showcasing good practice in the fields of Football Development and E - Learning from around the world.

Computer Soccer Games
Are they a help to introduce youngsters to the game, help them understand it better and maintain a PRACTICAL PARTICIPATION INTEREST ?

I was staggered when researching this week to find out that EA Sports FIFA 2016 sold 150 million copies ( see below ) last year making it the most popular selling computer game EVER !
Those not familiar with this game will be blown away by the intricacies available - techniques, skills, tactics, stats.
Evidence below in the USA shows that players of the game were MORE likely to become fans after they played the computer game .Is this a game when can help or hinder players love of ACTUALLY playing the beautiful game ?
