NSCAA launch Level 1 Online Course

The NSCAA's Level 1 Diploma is now available as an online course, no longer requiring coaches to take the course in person.

The Level 1 Diploma is designed to help coaches implement developmentally-appropriate training games to improve skill levels. It is also the Association's most convenient and accessible course offering. For as little as $10, coaches are able to earn the Level 1 Diploma at their convenience.

"The NSCAA is excited to provide coaches with a convenient, on-demand course to improve their coaching skills. This online offering is perfect for fledgling coaches, parent-coaches volunteering with their child's team, or for clubs who want all of their coaches to have a recognized coaching award," saidIan Barker, NSCAA Director of Coaching Education.

Anyone can complete the eight Level 1 modules; topics covered include coaching methodology, small-sided games, and communication and motivation. To earn the NSCAA Level 1 Diploma, coaches must complete the eight modules and one elective. There are five electives to choose from, based on player ages.

Sports Path to launch a new e-learning Course on:-
' Media Training for Coaches '

We have agreed to partner with Sky Sports Presenter, Alec Wilkinson and his company Elite Sports Media to develop an online course specifically for coaches to help them with media interviews involving all broadcast media (video, radio, text etc.)

The course will include 15 hours of online learning and will be available in the autumn. Before we finalize the content and delivery we would very much welcome the views of coaches like yourself as to your needs in this area

We would, therefore, be grateful if you could take literally 5 minutes to complete the online survey here so that we can shape the course to the needs of coaches like you

If you complete the course we guarantee we will send you a FREE PDF on  ' 7 Ways to Improve your Media Interviews ' AND provide you with access to a 30% discount for the online course.

We would very much value your feedback within the next two weeks and hope you can give us 5 minutes of your time

Many thanks in anticipation of your cooperation

Synchronous learning used to be strictly for traditional classroom environments and on-site training. However, thanks to eLearning software, learners can be fully engaged in the learning process even if they happen to be on the other side of the globe.

Finding affordable and user-friendly ways to create a fun and powerful eLearning experience for learners in real-time used to be one of the key challenges of synchronous learning. But this is no longer the case. With Google Hangouts eLearning professionals can develop and implement synchronous learning strategies, making it an ideal tool for eLearning professionals of all skill levels in all niches.
