5th Annual Crawfish Boil & Music Festival
For a unique weekend away, join us as we feast on more than 1,800 pounds of fresh Louisiana crawfish -- straight from the Gulf Coast!  Enjoy live music by Matt Stell, Paragon, and Old School Full Band Electric. For the little ones there is a Kids Zone with activities and games. In addition to crawfish, burgers and hot dogs are available. We welcome Spring with a day of music, concessions, crafts, pony rides and of course . . . flowers!  The jazz-blues band, 10-4 Rhythm Protocol, provides the entertainment.  Event held  from 10 AM-4 PM in Legion Park, 115 E. Front St.in Downtown Sikeston. Whether it's hiking, bird watching or photography you love, you can enjoy it all at the seven wildlife refuges/conservation areas featured on this itinerary. Established trails, boardwalks through cypress-tupelo swamps, and interpretative centers are available at most locations.  Bird species includes: great and snowy egrets, whilte ibis, tundra and trumpeter swans, 17 different birds of prey including bald and golden eagles.
