61st Annual Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo

August 7-10, 2013

Sikeston JC Bootheel Rodeo   

The Sikeston Jaycees host top PRCA cowboys and cowgirls in one of Missouri's largest rodeos.  Events include bull riding, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, barrel racing, team roping and tie-down roping. Gates open 6:30 PM.  Rodeo begins 7 PM. 5th Annual Cotton Ramble Bike Ride   

2011 Cotton Ramble

The Ramble offers 13, 26, 65 and 100 mile routes with SAG service and rest stops providing water and snacks. Terrain is mostly flat on the 13 and 26 mile routes. Longer routes offer rolling hills.  Mass start begins at Sikeston's historic Depot Museum & Gallery (116 W. Malone) and moves through Downtown's historic home district.  26, 65 and 100 mile routes showcase the area's cotton, soybeans and corn crops, and feature a free tour of a working cotton gin.
