Soldiers attached to infantry, calvary, and artillery units welcome you into their camps. Well-versed in Civil War history, they enjoy answering questions and sharing battle stories.

Saturday morning the action moves to historic Downtown Sikeston as re-enactors attempt to capture Sikeston's Depot (on the National Register of Historic Buildings).  The battle starts in Malone Park and winds through Downtown's brick streets to the Depot.  Once captured, the re-enactors return to the original battlefield where Civil War cannons accompany the clash of infantry and cavalry.  Battles are held on Saturday and Sunday.
