CEU Combo Package
To receive a half of a CEU (.5 CEU) you must have completed 5 hours of training in one subject matter. I have put together this package of three trainings that fit in the same subject category. There will also be a CEU form needed to be filled out for the package. This .5 training hour counts towards the 5 training hours needed to complete the .5 CEU. To gain a .5 CEU for this package every element of the package needs to be completed.

Focusing on Understanding Why Children Have Emotional Breakdowns, How to Handle Tantrums During Transitions, and Ways to Help Avoid Meltdowns From Taking Place

Jill Vetstein will assist you in better understanding why children have temper tantrums.You will learn how language skills and changes in routine closely impact the amount of tantrums children have. It will also explain how to handle tantrums in a variety of different settings. This training looks at ways to help avoid tantrums from occurring in the first place. After attending this training, you will walk away with a sense of relief and better understanding of why tantrums occur and how to prevent them.
You can register for this training alone or for two or three of the trainings in this package. Just pay for the trainings you want.

 CEU Reflection Form Equates to 1/2 Hour Towards the .5 CEU Required if you want to receive CEU's. Nurturing Parents and Teachers processing fee: $10 You will need to purchase a CEU form from the Nurturing Parents and Teachers store. Upon purchase, you will be given a link to download the form to your computer. You will need to print the form, fill it out and mail a hard copy to Sarasota County Technical Institute (SCTI).
Nurturing Parents and Teachers has filled in some of the important data from the training for you. You will need to answer the rest of questions on the form with no more than 300 words. Those questions are:
- Describe in detail, and giving specific examples, the content and objectives of the training
- Relate how the content and the objectives of the workshop apply to developmentally appropriate practices
- Describe in detail, and giving examples, how you will use the information you learned from this training in your present position
Once you have completed all the parts of the combo package and filled out the form you'll send it to SCTI with an additional $10 paid to SCTI. They will review your form and issue your .5 CEU.
