ImproveCareNow is a collaborative community where clinicians, researchers, parents and patients work together to outsmart IBD. We believe all children and youth with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis should be cared for at an ImproveCareNow center, where 80% of patients are in clinical remission (feeling well and fully active), 90% have satisfactory nutrition, 93% have satisfactory growth and 94% are not taking steroids.
We invite everyone interested in getting kids with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis better right now to join! Join now >>

In just one week we will be hosting our Spring Community Conference in Dallas, TX. The theme of this conference is Learning & Leading. We are looking forward to a great event where participants all teach and all learn. We will continue to build new knowledge, tools and strategies to improve care for all patients with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis across the ImproveCareNow Network.

Enteral Nutrition at the Community Conference
Haley Neef is a pediatric gastroenterologist at the University of Michigan C.S. Mott Children's Hospital. She is also one of a growing number of ImproveCareNow team members who have challenged themselves to better understand the daily lives and experiences of their patients. Empathy-building exercises like the Enteral Nutrition Challenge are likely to yield learning that can be applied to clinical practice, leading to improvement in care and outcomes.

Building on work that has begun at centers across the ImproveCareNow Network, we are offering a patient experience challenge at next week's Community Conference. Conference participants have been invited to enter into the Liquid Lottery. Five people will be selected to take 24 hours of total nutrition through liquid meals, sharing their experiences as they go.
